Quick Read

- India net is Rs 58.98 crore; India gross is Rs 68.24 crore; overseas is Rs 12.35 crore.
- Worldwide gross stands at Rs 80.59 crore. The film is expected on Netflix from 13 November.
Ranabaali is fading fast. The Vijay Deverakonda film made Rs 12 lakh net on Day 21, Thursday, 5 November. That is a 42.9% drop from Day 20’s Rs 21 lakh. Sacnilk reports the film ran just 182 shows on Day 21, at 16.0% occupancy.
The screens are going. Two days ago, on Day 19, the film had 487 shows. Now it has 182. That is a 63% fall in show count in two days. Ramayana took the screens on 5 November. Ranabaali, in its third week, was first in line to lose them.
The Day 21 count in full
India net after 21 days is Rs 58.98 crore. India gross is Rs 68.24 crore. Overseas gross is Rs 12.35 crore. Worldwide gross stands at Rs 80.59 crore. Day 21 added Rs 12 lakh net and about Rs 13 lakh gross.
TrackTollywood’s live count is close but not the same. It lists Day 21 gross at Rs 11.58 lakh from 216 shows, at 15.1% occupancy. The show count differs from Sacnilk’s 182. Live trackers count shows as they report in, so their totals move through the day. Sacnilk’s net figure is the one we use as the main source. The two counts agree on the big picture. The day was worth about Rs 12 lakh.
Day 1 now looks far away. The film opened with Rs 9.25 crore Telugu net on Day 1. Day 21 made Rs 12 lakh. That is about 1.3% of the opening day. Week 1 gave Rs 45.20 crore Telugu net. The film has added less than Rs 14 crore net since then, across two full weeks.

Rs 85 crore is slipping away
The gap to Rs 85 crore is Rs 4.41 crore. That is Rs 85 crore minus Rs 80.59 crore. At Day 21’s pace of Rs 12 lakh a day, closing that gap would take about 37 more days. The film does not have 37 days. It has about a week of shows left, and the Netflix date is 13 November.
Rs 100 crore is further still. The gap is Rs 19.41 crore. At the same pace, that would take about 162 days. Nobody expects that. The Rs 100 crore talk around this film is over.
Some sites jumped the gun. Box Office Income reported on 5 November that the film had already made Rs 85 crore worldwide, “as of 3 November”. Sacnilk’s count says worldwide was Rs 80.46 crore after Day 20 and Rs 80.59 crore after Day 21. The Rs 85 crore claim does not fit those numbers. The film is still Rs 4.41 crore short. Readers should treat the Rs 85 crore headline as wrong.
Three weeks, three very different speeds
Week 1 was the film’s only strong week: Rs 45.20 crore Telugu net in seven days. After that, the fall was steep. The second week dropped 73% from the first, per The Daily Jagran. The first five days of week 3 added only Rs 1.32 crore.
The Daily Jagran calls it a commercial failure, given its high budget and mixed word of mouth. The film did beat Dear Comrade’s lifetime total, as our Day 20 post noted. That is a small win in a run that fell far short of its cost.
What made Ranabaali’s tail thinner than most is the timing. Ramayana arrived in week 3, not week 5. The film lost its screens while it still had some life left.

Netflix on 13 November ends the run
The film is expected to start streaming on Netflix from 13 November 2026, per The Daily Jagran. That is one week from today. Once it is on streaming, theatre shows will fall to almost nothing. The last days will add only a few lakh each.
The streaming date also sets the final total. Between now and 13 November, the film has the weekend of 7–8 November. Saturday and Sunday may lift the daily count back above Rs 20 lakh. Even a good weekend adds less than Rs 1 crore in all. The final worldwide total will land near Rs 81 to 82 crore. Rs 85 crore will stay out of reach.
For Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna, the pairing drew crowds in week 1. The film’s problem was never the opening. It was the hold. A 73% second-week drop leaves no room for a late recovery. The run ends as a disappointment at the ticket window, whatever the streaming numbers say later.
