Quick Read
- Day 35 (Thursday, 5 Nov) added Rs 5 lakh net, down 90.9% from Day 34’s Rs 55 lakh.
- India net is Rs 379.25 crore; India gross is Rs 454.16 crore; overseas is Rs 133.20 crore.
- Worldwide gross stands at Rs 587.36 crore. The Rs 600 crore mark needs Rs 12.64 crore more.
Drishyam 3 is nearly done in theatres. The Ajay Devgn thriller made just Rs 5 lakh net on Day 35, Thursday, 5 November. That is a 90.9% fall from Day 34’s Rs 55 lakh. Sacnilk reports the drop as Ramayana took over the screens and the film’s own run wound down.
Five lakh rupees is a rounding error next to the film’s opening. Day 1 alone made Rs 62 crore net. Week 1 made Rs 245.50 crore net. Week 5, which ended on Day 35, made Rs 6.25 crore in all. The film is now in its last days at the ticket window.
The Day 35 count in full
India net after 35 days is Rs 379.25 crore. India gross is Rs 454.16 crore. Overseas gross is Rs 133.20 crore. Add them up and the worldwide gross is Rs 587.36 crore. The film has run 2,81,980 shows in India across 35 days.
Day 35 is the weakest day of the run so far. Day 32 and Day 34 both gave Rs 55 lakh. Day 33 gave Rs 75 lakh. Day 35 gave one-tenth of that. The fall is not a blip. It is what happens when a five-week-old film loses its screens to a giant new release on the same day.
Ramayana opened on 5 November with about 25,200 shows. Drishyam 3 kept only a small set of shows. BOI24’s live board on 6 November shows the film down to 84 shows for Day 36, at 9.4% occupancy. That is the tail end of a run.

Rs 600 crore will not happen in theatres
The gap is Rs 12.64 crore. That is Rs 600 crore minus Rs 587.36 crore. At Day 35’s pace of Rs 5 lakh a day, closing that gap would take about 253 more days. The film does not have 253 days. It barely has a week of shows left.
Even the good days are gone. Week 5 gave Rs 6.25 crore in seven days. That is less than half the gap. And week 5 had a weekend in it. Week 6 will be smaller still. The Rs 600 crore mark was close enough to talk about. It is now far enough to call off.
That does not change the verdict. The film is a blockbuster and Ajay Devgn’s highest-grossing film. Pinkvilla expects the run to close near Rs 368.50 crore net in India; Sacnilk’s running total is already higher, at Rs 379.25 crore. Either way, the film ends as a huge hit.
The trackers do not agree on worldwide
Readers who check other sites will see different worldwide totals. Koimoi puts the film at Rs 592.86 crore worldwide after 34 days. Sacnilk puts it at Rs 587.36 crore after 35 days. The gap is about Rs 5.50 crore. Most of it sits overseas. Koimoi counts overseas at Rs 144.89 crore. Sacnilk counts it at Rs 133.20 crore.
India net differs too, but by less. Koimoi has Rs 379.60 crore after 34 days. Sacnilk has Rs 379.25 crore after 35 days. The two are close on India and far apart overseas. Overseas counts come in late and get revised often. That is why the worldwide total moves between trackers.
On Day 35 itself, the trackers agree. BOI24 lists Day 35 as a Rs 0.05 crore final. That is Rs 5 lakh, the same as Sacnilk. Day 34 was the one that differed. BOI24 had Rs 0.62 crore against Sacnilk’s Rs 0.55 crore. Small gaps like that are normal this late in a run, when only a few hundred shows report each day.

Week 5 is 2.5% of Week 1
Week 1 made Rs 245.50 crore net. Week 5 made Rs 6.25 crore — 2.5% of the opening week. The film earned more on its first day, Rs 62 crore, than in its whole fifth week.
Drishyam 3 held better than most in weeks 2 to 4: Rs 83.25 crore, about Rs 28.50 crore, then Rs 10.75 crore. The tail only fell off a cliff when Ramayana arrived and took the screens.
What is left now is the weekend. Saturday and Sunday may lift the daily count back above Rs 10 lakh. The last milestone in reach is Rs 380 crore India net — the film needs Rs 75 lakh more, and a decent weekend could get it there.
