Jailer 2 is still earning in its fourth week. The Rajinikanth film made ₹1 crore net in India on Saturday 7 November, as per Sacnilk. That is Day 24. Friday had made only ₹60 lakh. So Saturday was up 66.7%.
The film ran on 655 shows on Saturday. Halls were 39.5% full. About 70,026 tickets were sold. Tamil led again with ₹74 lakh. Telugu made ₹13 lakh. Hindi made ₹10 lakh. Kannada made ₹3 lakh.
This is a small day by the film’s own past. But it is week 4. Most films are out of halls by now. Jailer 2 is still there, and Saturday still gave it a jump.

Week 4 has only two days of numbers so far. Day 23 (Friday) made ₹60 lakh. Day 24 (Saturday) made ₹1 crore. Together that is ₹1.60 crore.

Sunday should be the best day of this week. Diwali day brings families out. The film may add another ₹1 crore or so today. But the final number will come tomorrow.
The fourth week, day by day
Week 4 started slow and then picked up. Day 21 (Wednesday) made ₹3 crore. Day 22 (Thursday) made ₹1.60 crore. Day 23 (Friday) fell to ₹60 lakh. Day 24 (Saturday) bounced back to ₹1 crore. The pattern is clear. Weekdays are now under ₹1 crore. Saturdays still give a small jump.
The film opened on 15 October. It is now in its 24th day. Few Tamil films run this long in theatres. The long run is the story now, not the daily number.
₹825.55 crore worldwide, 3.20 crore tickets
After 24 days, the totals look like this. India net is ₹469.25 crore. India gross is ₹548.80 crore. Overseas is ₹276.75 crore. Add India gross and overseas and the worldwide gross is ₹825.55 crore.
The film has sold 3.20 crore tickets in India so far. That is the footfall number. It counts every seat sold, not money.
Jailer 2 is the first Tamil film to cross ₹800 crore worldwide. It passed that mark in its third week. Now it is inching toward ₹830 crore.

Boxofficeindia24.com, a second trade tracker, reports slightly lower numbers. It puts Day 24 at ₹0.97 crore net. Its India net total is about ₹458.54 crore. Its worldwide total is ₹814.59 crore.
That is a gap of about ₹11 crore worldwide between the two trackers. This site uses Sacnilk as the main source. The gap is small next to ₹825 crore. But readers should know the two trackers do not match exactly.

OTT release is 4 days away
Jailer 2 moves to Prime Video on 12 November. That is Thursday. It will stream in 5 languages and in 240+ countries. This is from yesterday’s post on this site, and the date is still the same.
The OTT release matters for the box office. Once a film is on streaming, most people stop going to halls. So the theatre run has about 4 more days of real earning left. The last days will be slow. A small Diwali Sunday bump is the last big chance.
