Gold prices in Delhi and Mumbai are almost flat today. That’s the picture from Goodreturns’ daily gold-rate table for Thursday, 5 November 2026. If you were waiting for a sharp fall before Diwali shopping, today isn’t giving you one. Let’s get the terms straight first. 24K gold is the purest form, at 99.9% purity. 22K gold is 91.6% pure. It’s the gold most jewellery is made from, because pure 24K gold is too soft for daily wear. 18K gold is 75% pure.

The change from the last update is tiny. Goodreturns shows a ₹1 rise per gram on both 24K and 22K. In plain terms, that’s flat. A ₹1 move on a ₹14,000-plus price is less than 0.01%.

What does this cost for 10 grams?
Jewellers often quote gold per 10 grams. That’s the old "tola" style of pricing many buyers still use. Here’s the maths from the same Goodreturns table, worked out by this desk:

Delhi costs ₹150 more than Mumbai for 10 grams, on both 24K and 22K. That’s just the ₹15 per gram gap, times 10. It’s a small gap, but it’s real, and it’s the same gap on both purities. The 24K–22K gap in Delhi is ₹1,190 per gram (₹14,296 minus ₹13,106). That’s the premium you pay for the purest gold over jewellery gold.
What these rates do NOT include
