Drishyam 3’s box office collection on day 19 came in at ₹6.25 crore net in India, according to Sacnilk’s live tracker, checked this morning. That’s a 78.6% jump over Monday’s ₹3.50 crore. For a film in its third week, that’s an unusually big mid-week bounce — and it has one clear cause. Tuesday was Dussehra. The film played 4,694 shows and drew 3,14,845 footfalls in a single day. India net now stands at ₹357.10 crore, and the worldwide gross has crossed ₹556 crore.

Why Dussehra moved the needle this much
Third-week films don’t usually jump 79% on a Tuesday. Two things stacked up.
One, the holiday. Dussehra put families in theatres across the Hindi belt, and Drishyam 3 is exactly the kind of film families pick: a known franchise, a thriller, UA16+.
Two, the film is riding genuine momentum. Sacnilk’s own coverage this week notes it crossed ₹500 crore worldwide in 12 days, became Ajay Devgn’s highest-grossing film, and entered BookMyShow’s all-time top 10 for ticket sales with 5.53 million tickets after its second weekend. It has also crossed $5 million in North America — 2026’s second-biggest Bollywood grosser there. A holiday plus word of mouth. That’s the whole story.

The conflicts, stated plainly
Three things to be straight about.
First, Sacnilk revised its own number this morning. Its early estimate for Day 19 was ₹6.15 crore; the tracker has since updated to ₹6.25 crore as more show data came in. We lead with the latest.
Second, BoxOfficeIndia24 reports Day 19 at ₹6.07 crore net, with its India total at ₹357.14 crore — below Sacnilk on the day figure, a touch above on the total. Tracker methods differ. Both are estimates.
Third, our own Day-18 post said ₹3.40 crore. Sacnilk’s series now shows Day 18 at ₹3.50 crore — a small upward revision, and we’ve updated the reference above. Separately, Koimoi’s 18-day worldwide figure (₹554.68 cr) sits below Sacnilk’s — another reminder that worldwide grosses shift as overseas reporting lands.
What’s next: ₹560 crore is in sight
The film needs less than ₹4 crore more worldwide to touch ₹560 crore. That should happen within days if the weekday hold is even half-decent. The real question is the second half of the week. If Wednesday and Thursday stay above ₹3 crore, the film keeps its third-weekend options open. Diwali week brings fresh competition, so every strong weekday counts double now.
