Hanuman Ansh Day 65 Box Office: Rs 2.50 Cr Saturday

Here is the Hanuman Ansh box office collection day 65 report: the film collected Rs 2.50 crore net in India on Saturday, its 65th day in theatres. That’s more than double Friday’s Rs 1.20 crore. A jump of 108.3%, according to Sacnilk. And the hero of this comeback is not the Hindi version. It’s the Telugu one.

Correction (October 12): an earlier version of this article put Saturday’s collection at Rs 2.45 crore, which was Sacnilk’s early estimate. Sacnilk has since revised it to Rs 2.50 crore, and all figures in this article are updated accordingly.

On Saturday, October 10, the Telugu version of Hanuman Ansh made Rs 1.25 crore. The Hindi version made Rs 1.20 crore. The Telugu version played on fewer shows and still earned more. The film’s total India net now stands at Rs 331.68 crore. Its domestic gross is Rs 391.67 crore. Overseas, the film has made Rs 40.25 crore. Add it all up and the worldwide gross is Rs 431.92 crore, according to Sacnilk.

Hanuman Ansh box office collection Day 65: the numbers

The Telugu version hit screens only on Friday, October 9 — two days ago. It brought the same film to a brand-new audience. On Saturday it played on 1,184 shows. The Hindi version played on 1,589 shows. But the Telugu version’s daily earning was higher.

The Hindi version’s occupancy stood at 24.0%. The Telugu version’s at 23.1%. A total of 194,434 people watched the film on Saturday, according to Sacnilk. Evening shows did best for Hindi. For Telugu, the afternoon shows drew the most viewers.

For scale: Friday’s total was Rs 1.20 crore across 2,145 shows, with an overall occupancy of 16.6%. Saturday brought more shows and fuller seats. TrackTollywood’s theatre-level data for Day 65 backs the Telugu story — Telangana was the top state and Hyderabad the top city of the day.

What is a Telugu version?

Simple: it’s the same film, with the words changed. Hanuman Ansh was made in Hindi and released on August 7, 2026. The scenes, story, and songs stay the same. Only the spoken lines are dubbed into Telugu — the language of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Think of it as the same movie speaking a new language. For viewers in the Telugu states, it now feels like their own film. And Day 65 shows they came out to watch it.

Net and gross, in plain words

Two money terms keep appearing. Here’s what they mean. Net = the ticket money left after taxes are taken out. Gross = all the ticket money put together, taxes included. That’s why India’s net (Rs 331.68 crore) is smaller than its gross (Rs 391.67 crore). Worldwide gross (Rs 431.92 crore) = India’s gross + overseas earnings (Rs 40.25 crore).

From Rs 1.08 crore to Rs 431.92 crore

This is the part no one saw coming. Hanuman Ansh did not start like a blockbuster. Its first week made only Rs 1.08 crore. Week 2 was even smaller — Rs 40 lakh. Then word of mouth did its work.

Week 3 jumped to Rs 10.40 crore. Week 4 hit Rs 61 crore. Weeks 5 and 6 were the peak — Rs 90.25 crore and Rs 80.25 crore, according to Sacnilk. Week 7 made Rs 44.80 crore. Week 8 made Rs 29.20 crore. Week 9 added Rs 10.60 crore.

A film that earned barely Rs 1 crore in its first week now stands at Rs 431.92 crore worldwide. Sacnilk calls it a Blockbuster. Few films grow like this. Most big hits open big and fall fast. Hanuman Ansh did the opposite. It opened small and grew for weeks.

The third-biggest Indian film of 2026

Here is some context no other Day 65 article has. At Rs 431.92 crore worldwide, Hanuman Ansh is the third-highest-grossing Indian film of 2026. Only Dhurandhar: The Revenge (~Rs 1,852 crore) and Border 2 (~Rs 464.5 crore) sit above it, per Wikipedia’s list of 2026 Indian films. It is also ahead of Drishyam: The Conclusion on that list.

And here is the wildest part. Koimoi lists the film’s budget at Rs 1.8 crore. A Rs 1.8-crore film has now earned over Rs 430 crore around the world.

Trackers don’t fully agree

One honest note. The numbers above are Sacnilk’s. Other trackers count differently. BOI24 puts Day 65 at Rs 2.79 crore nett, with a cumulative Rs 335.31 crore. TrackTollywood says Rs 3.01 crore — but that is a gross figure from its own tracked theatres, not a net total. Different trackers, different methods, different counts. We used Sacnilk here because it gives the clean Hindi-vs-Telugu split for Day 65.

What comes next

Sunday’s numbers will tell more. The real question is what the Telugu version does in its second week. A first-weekend rush is normal for any new release. The test is the hold. If Telugu audiences keep coming, Rs 450 crore worldwide is the next mark — only about Rs 18 crore away. Sunday is the first decider. Either way, a 65-day-old film doubling its Friday number is something the box office rarely sees.
