A small rise on Sunday
Ranabaali is in the slow part of its run, but Sunday still brought a small rise. Trade tracker Sacnilk estimates it earned Rs 38 lakh net in India on Day 17, Sunday 1 November 2026. Day 16 had brought Rs 37 lakh. So Day 17 rose 2.7%. That’s a modest bump, not a revival. The film ran on 485 shows on Day 17, down from 514 shows on Day 16. The film released on 16 October 2026. It stars Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna, reuniting on screen after seven years. It’s a period action drama set in the 1800s, directed by Rahul Sankrityan. Day 17’s figure is confirmed by two trackers: Sacnilk’s day-wise page and BollyBourse, which also shows Rs 0.38 crore for Day 17 and a Rs 58.3 crore India net total. This post is not built on a single source.
The totals so far
India net now stands at Rs 58.27 crore. India gross stands at Rs 66.80 crore on Sacnilk’s page. Overseas gross stands at Rs 12.35 crore. Add India gross and overseas: Rs 66.80 crore plus Rs 12.35 crore equals Rs 79.15 crore worldwide. That leaves the film Rs 85 lakh short of Rs 80 crore worldwide. At the current pace — under Rs 40 lakh a day in India net — that gap may take several more days to close, if it closes at all before Ramayana takes screens. The film opened with Rs 9.25 crore on Day 1. Days 8–10 brought Rs 2.10 crore, Rs 2.80 crore, and Rs 2.90 crore. The drop since then has been steep. Day 15 fell to Rs 22 lakh before Day 16 recovered to Rs 37 lakh.

Added context: fewer shows, but each show earned more
Here’s our own desk maths from Sacnilk’s show counts. Day 17 ran 485 shows for Rs 38 lakh. That works out to about Rs 7,835 per show. Day 16 ran 514 shows for Rs 37 lakh, or about Rs 7,198 per show. So even though the film lost 29 shows, each remaining show earned more on Sunday than on Saturday. That’s normal Sunday behaviour — fewer shows, but fuller ones. The other useful number is the gap to Rs 80 crore. At Rs 79.15 crore worldwide, the film needs Rs 85 lakh more in gross. Since overseas adds only small daily amounts now, most of that must come from India gross, which runs a bit above net. Roughly speaking, the film needs about 10 more days at the current pace — and Ramayana arrives in 3 days. That maths, not hype, is why the Rs 80 crore mark is now in doubt.
A note on conflicting worldwide totals
Readers will find different worldwide totals for Ranabaali online, and the reason is worth stating plainly. The India gross figure differs by outlet. Sacnilk’s day-wise page shows India gross at Rs 66.80 crore, giving Rs 79.15 crore worldwide. An NDTV Profit report on Day 16 used India gross of Rs 67.23 crore, giving Rs 79.58 crore worldwide. A Zoom report used India gross of Rs 68.31 crore, giving Rs 80.66 crore worldwide. Overseas is Rs 12.35 crore in all three. This post uses Sacnilk’s page figures throughout — Rs 66.80 crore gross, Rs 79.15 crore worldwide — because Sacnilk is also the source for the Day 17 figure. Mixing one outlet’s gross with another’s day figure would give a false total. If you see Rs 80.66 crore quoted, it comes from that higher gross figure, not from a different Day 17 result.

What comes next
Ramayana releases on 5 November, with paid previews on 4 November. Ranabaali will lose shows to it. The film’s best hope for Rs 80 crore is a decent Monday hold plus whatever overseas adds this week. Zoom’s 1 November report noted the film sits about Rs 2 crore short of Vijay Deverakonda’s highest post-pandemic worldwide total, set by Kingdom. That benchmark now looks harder to reach than the Rs 80 crore mark itself. For now, the honest summary is this: a steady, small film in its third week, still adding a little each day, with one milestone just out of reach.
